“The first rule of unarmed combat is: don’t be unarmed!” Warhammer 40K fans rejoice and gather arms. Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge is now available for mobile devices. A trading card game spin-off of the tabletop franchise. Promising an expansive experience for 40K gamers, players can now take to the battlefield in another theater of war!
Warpforge: A Familiar but Evolved Battlefield
The new game was developed by series veteran Everguild, who boasts titles such as Warhammer Horus Heresy: Legions. Everguild has the experience necessary to adapt the growing popularity of trading card games to the 40K franchise. Featuring series mechanics that have made the tabletop game popular, including functions such as ranged and melee combat, mobs of orcs, swarms of tryanids, and reanimated necrons that fans of the series will immediately recognize. This promises to bring all the atmosphere that fans have come to expect from the desolate battlefields of 40K to a new genre.
Alongside franchise mechanics, Warpforge promises to boast new popular mechanics from other games, such as launching with cross-play functionality. The game was launched on Steam, paving the way for gamers before taking the fight on the go. They will be able to access their collections and battle against friends already made on the game’s PC version.
Warpforge mobile launched on November 2nd, 2023, on Google Play and Apple App stores. Players should waste no time taking to the battlefields to begin conquering and building their collections!
