Get Ready for Velocity Vortex: Racing
Indie game developer Bacioiu Ciprian, known for making retro style games, has announced his newest title, Velocity Vortex: Racing. Debuting for iOS devices, it’s an extreme arcade racer with an old-school feel.
In this upcoming racing game, you race against the extinction of the human race. The game features 30+ drivers to challenge, team up with and race against in story mode to avert the world’s end. Boasting a story which gets tougher as you progress, test your skills against dangers at high-speed. You’ll acquire new and upgradable vehicles, and create your own tracks and challenges to share with friends. Additionally, the game features hand-drawn 2D artwork combined to give the game a 3D feel. There are also unique characters you’ll meet in the story that provide you with racing challenges. Great rewards await players who take on these challenges.
Velocity Vortex: Racing is heavily inspired by arcade racing games from the late 80’s such as Super Hang-On, Road Blaster and Outrun.
