Relive the memories of four teenage Spirits during the upcoming Season of Passage in Sky: Children of the Light. Dawning April 17th, players can work together to complete a host of new Seasonal Quests. Commencing after sundown, events include a rite that challenges initiates to complete their goal without leaving fellow members behind. While all quests can be completed individually, rituals include larger groups of Sky kids starting with the second quest.
Event rewards feature a whole slew of new cosmetics, including a new instrument that can be used to create original music. Season Pass ($9.99) holders may unlock all items in the Seasonal Spirits’ Friendship Trees and Ultimate Gifts offered by the Season Guide. Season Passes also give Pass holders 30 Season Candles as a bonus. Additionally, players can purchase a three-pack Gift Pack for $19.99, with two gift passes to award to in-game friends. Players have until June 25th to participate in all the Season of Passage has to offer.
For the uninitiated, Sky: Children of the Light is an open-world indie adventure game created by thatgamecompany. Sky encourages players to connect with others via collaborative and expressive gameplay and explore an enchanting fantasy world. Last year’s event, the Season of AURORA concert, received a nomination for a Webby and the NYX Award. Sky: Children of the Light is available now via the App Store or Google Play.
