A limited-time crossover event between GungHo Online’s Puzzles and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering has begun! From now until July 3rd, you’ll be able to recruit Planeswalkers, such as Jace Beleren and Nissa Revane, as well as other creatures from the Magic: The Gathering franchise, to battle for you across many dungeons. Players can acquire these legendary beasts by utilizing the gacha Egg Machines or by spending medals earned during the Puzzles and Dragons collab.
Five event-exclusive dungeons will be available during this crossover. The Magic: The Gathering Dungeon allows players to fight for special Collab Medals, which can be exchanged for various creatures. The Magic: The Gathering Colosseum gives players a chance to acquire rare items by fighting guaranteed rare monsters. Additionally, up to three players can challenge a multiplayer version of this dungeon to earn extra rewards. The Magic: The Gathering Title Challenge lets players acquire a unique title upon successfully clearing it. Finally, when players complete the Elesh Norn Descended Dungeon, they’ll receive a guaranteed drop for the titular character.
Special Magic Stone bundles will also be available for purchase during the limited-time event. Each of these bundles includes a pull for the event-exclusive Egg Machines.
Puzzles and Dragons is a match-3 puzzle game where you assemble a team of characters and fight your way through various dungeons. You’ll engage in combat by rearranging tiles on your board to match three or more symbols, dealing damage to enemies. In addition to the new Magic: The Gathering creatures, Puzzles and Dragons offers a huge catalog of characters to collect to battle alongside you.
