KLab Inc. announced that Haikyu!! Fly High, a card-collecting online mobile game based on the acclaimed anime series Haikyu!! is currently under development. Changyou, a leading company in China that develops and operates online games, is working together with Prophet Games, a developer of many worldwide hit mobile sports games, to oversee this project.
First released as a manga in 2012, the Haikyu!! TV series began broadcasting in 2014, airing four seasons until 2020. Now, the series is making a comeback with a mobile game as well as a new movie coming this February 16.
Haikyu!! Fly High is described as a sports card game in which the main focus is placed on building your collection. Players can create their own teams and utilize various tactics to conquer their way through matches. Fans of the original series and volleyball in general will be sure to enjoy Haikyu!! Fly High.
Pre-registration and pre-orders for the game are now being accepted in Japan. Other regions scheduled for release are to be announced at a later date. Furthermore, the official website and official social media accounts of Haikyu!! Fly High are now open to the public.
