One day, game company HAEGIN, developer of Play Together received an email. Written by an elementary school teacher in the Gyeonggi Provice of South Korea, the email spoke about one of their students with autism. A wholesome child, good at drawing and is very fond of the game, often talking about it in class. The teacher explained that the student has a wish—to see their favorite dinosaur, the Triceratops, in the game. They sent the email hoping to make this wish a reality, however tall of a request it may seem.
After receiving this email, the developers and employees of HAEGIN got to work. They created “Ms. Quinn and Trey’s Story” to make the student’s wish come true. After release, the content can be started at the School located in the Plaza area. Accepting teacher Jeannie Quinn’s request lets you help the new kid Trey Horne adjust to his new school life. Players can attend classes, share snacks and complete requests, among other activities. Doing so gives them a chance to collect the Triceratops Hat, the Triceratops Cape and the Triceratops Egg. The latter hatches into a Triceratops Pet that follows the owner around.

“Since the early stages of its development, Play Together has aspired to be a space where a person, regardless of nationality, language, age, gender, or disability, can make friends and dream big. The development team worked hard to bring this story of a student with a pure and positive dream and a kind-hearted teacher to life, and we hope everyone in Play Together has a fun time with Trey Horne.”
To celebrate its third anniversary, Play Together has also released an infographic video. In this, they highlight the title’s various achievements since its launch three years ago. The infographic includes data such as total download count, total number of Kaia Island residents, the most number of times a player has gone fishing or mining and so on.
