Pearl Abyss announced on November 13th that they will hold their annual real-life event, the Calpheon Ball, in Gwangmyeong City, Korea. The Calpheon Ball will be on Saturday and Sunday, December 16th and 17th. Players can expect to hear major updates, news, and surprises across PC, console, and mobile by tuning in to developer-led livestreams on Pearl Abyss’ official Twitch and YouTube channels. The times to do so are 7 AM CET on Saturday, December 16th for Black Desert Online, and 10:30 AM CET on Sunday, December 17th for Black Desert Mobile.
Pearl Abyss will hold a series of events in-game in the weeks before the Calpheon Ball to rally players’ excitement. Players who participate in the three-week event between November 16th and December 6th will earn “[Event] Daring Calpheon Seals”. These allow players to enter contests that offer rewards such as Vell’s Heart, Garmoth’s Heart and more.
Players who don’t win any of the contest rewards aren’t out of luck just yet. They’ll still obtain [Event] Inspiring Calpheon Coins” that they can exchange for items like J’s Hammer of Loyalty, 5 Mythical Feathers, [Event] Maid for Hire Box and more.
Black Desert is an open-world action MMORPG released by Pearl Abyss back in December 2014. Black Desert features cutting-edge visuals and skill-based combat. They also boast the most developed character creation system of any game currently on the market. Black Desert was Peral Abyss’ first game and led them to create Black Desert Mobile. They currently have three more games in development, while Black Desert is available on both Google Play and the App Store, PC and console.
