The developers kept both fans of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime and newcomers in mind with the story. It follows the major plot points of the first season, while adding a new cast and storyline set at the Fukuoka Branch Campus. The title boasts fully voiced Live2D animations in Traditional Chinese, Korean, English, French, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Thai, and Simplified Chinese.
Being a command-based RPG system, gameplay emphasizes strategy and using the characters’ abilities synergistically. Each character possesses a unique ability that can be used to build combinations. Executing the abilities of characters with strong bonds (like Itatori and Gojo) simultaneously results in special animations and dialogue sequences.
BILIBILI is a Chinese company that has strong ties to gaming and gaming culture. They deliver immersive gameplay and imaginative fantasy realms to explore and are looking to add the world of Jujustu Kaisen to their roster. For this title, they’re working with Shueisha Inc. (publisher of the manga), TOHO, and Sumzap.
