Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is partnering with the stage play Harry Potter and The Cursed Child to bring an extra special holiday event to the game. Global entertainment studio Jam City and Portkey Games, the developers of the popular RPG mobile game, made the announcement and are excited about the event.
“Both Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child explore themes of self-discovery and belonging that deeply resonate with our fans and present unique ways to engage with the Wizarding World,” said Justin Fitzwater, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Jam City.
Through the end of December, players will have the opportunity to earn exclusive Cursed Child-themed house robes in-game and watch fun videos about the game featuring the cast members from the play. Additionally, U.S. and Canadian players were able to enter sweepstakes for fabulous prizes and even win tickets for the show.
The sweepstakes run from December 2 through December 10. As mentioned earlier, fans who live in the U.S. and Canada can enter for free and can earn a chance to win Grand Prize tickets for the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child production in New York. This also includes lounge access, a merchandise pack for the Hogwarts House of their choosing, and in-game energy to use in Hogwarts Mystery.
