Chronicles Card Drop Comes To GWENT
The latest update for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game adds some new cards for players to collect. The Chronicles card drop introduces 24 new cards to the game: four for each faction. Twelve of the new cards are gold cards, while the remaining 12 are bronze. CD Projekt Red promises the new cards will expand the game’s existing mechanics.
The Scoia’tel faction’s new cards add a new card category—the Naiad. The Naiad Fledgling card can remove all Vitality from an allied unit and boost itself by the same amount. Another new card in the Naiad category, Aucwenn, infuses all Naiads with the nature category.
One of the new cards for the syndicate faction is the Sigi Revven: Mastermind card, which allows you to look at a random card from each gang in your deck and play one. Norse-inspired Skellige boasts a new Feral Bond card that spawns Skellige wolves on an enemy row, damages it by one and creates a bronze Skellige warrior.
Additionally, GWENT’s in-game store is hosting a limited-time offer, the Chronicles Pack, available through December 6th. The Chronicles Pack includes all 24 of the new cards in their premium animated versions. In addition, the pack contains the new Foltest Army Commander Skin.
