Everyone wants the bathroom door to have a good lock, but what happens when that lock is too good? Test your brain power in Escape from Restroom with elaborate puzzles and a hidden story.
Developed by Toki Games, Escape from Restroom is a point-and-click styled escape game. Toki Games has been producing escape games since 2022, and they currently have five games available for download on both Google Play and the App Store.
The Search Begins
Escape from Restroom starts on a home screen with the option to start or continue if you had a previous game going. There’s a button for language on the right and a link to Twitter. An ad displays anytime you enter the game.
Escape from Restroom has good quality art and a pleasant soundtrack to accompany players as they navigate the mysterious bathroom. The animations are sharp and crisp, and a cheery ding rings out anytime a player solves a puzzle.
Time to Look Around
Players can navigate the small room by tapping on the arrows at the bottom of the screen. A black inventory bar lays just beneath that for any items picked up along the way. Three buttons sit at the top of the screen, two on the left and one on the right. The right button is labeled hint, allowing players to access the hints and puzzle answers after watching a video ad. This resets after a puzzle is solved, so players must watch a new ad to see the hint and answer for the next puzzle.
The other two buttons are for the menu and memo pad. Players can watch another ad to use the memo pad to keep track of any clues they find and to work on puzzles. The menu button opens to a nine-by-nine grid, with options to access the home screen, game settings, social media, and instructions.
Escape from Restroom has challenging puzzles that are sure to keep even the most experienced player guessing. The option to use a hint whenever stuck was a nice touch, and the answers explained exactly how to use the clues to get the solution.
