Hailing from the Sinister Six, Shocker and Sandman enter the Battlerealm. Shocker and Sandman join the Contest on April 13th and April 27th, respectively. Witness this duo face off against Spider-Man in the newest reveal trailer for Marvel Contest of Champions from Kabam Games.
The Shocker (aka Herman Schultz) was once a self-taught engineer and safe-cracker, until he was incarcerated. Using his expertise in the prison workshop, he constructed a pair of gauntlets that produced powerful shockwaves. Shocker uses this tech in the trailer, slamming Spider-Man into a wall, leaving the Webswinger powerless. Suddenly, Spider-Man turns the tide of battle, blinding the Shocker with a well-aimed web-shot. However, Spidey’s victory is brief, as he senses Sandman materializing near him.
After an accidental exposure to radiation in the presence of sand, William Baker/Flint Marko gained shapeshifting abilities and the moniker Sandman. With Baker’s new powers of superhuman strength and size manipulation, even Spider-Man struggles to keep up with his whirlwind of sand.
