On November 5, 2024, Pearl Abyss Korean developer and publisher of Black Desert Mobile introduced the Kurenai, a deadly assassin class. Known as the assassin seeking vengeance, the Kurenai focuses on eliminating targets using a powerful and precise combat style.
With the Sah Chakram, a crescent-shaped weapon, the Kurenai cuts down foes over a wide area. The class’s core skills include:
- Crimson Eclipse – Grants attack and movement speed and immunity to debuffs when Kurenai’s MP is 100 or more.
- Shadow Stomp – Deploys a “Moonlit Mark” where Kurenai stands that damages enemies and grants Super Armor, damage reduction, and Perfect Stealth until Kurenai attacks.
- Chain Crash – Strike a wide area while protecting yourself with a Forward Guard — an extremely useful skill for defeating waves of monsters.
- Wheel of Wrath – Attack and defend simultaneously with this upward swing that applies both Forward Guard and Rear Super Armor, which creates an opening for a counterattack.
- Ninjutsu: Concealment – Vanish in an instant and enter stealth, enabling safe infiltration and sudden assaults. Also applies Super Armor, which keeps Kurenai hidden even if struck.
Pearl Abyss also announced that the 2024 Mobile Calpheon Ball will take place on Sunday, December 14. The event will be streamed live at 10:30 AM CET on the official Black Desert Mobile YouTube channel.
