NetEase Games, the online games division of NetEase, Inc., has announced the official release date for Once Human: July 9th. The game will be available on Steam and the Epic Store. Already, players can download the demo, which features a limited-time reward that can be used in the launch version of the game.
Once Human is an upcoming supernatural-themed open-world multiplayer survival game set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. Eldritch horrors known as Deviants nearly brought mankind to the edge of extinction. Players must work together and gather tools from the ruins of civilization to reclaim their lost lands.
The game has already attracted the attention of millions of players around the world, with a new trailer released during Summer Game Fest 2024 that announced Once Human’s global launch on July 9th. Until then, players can also play the demo starting from June 10th until June 17th.
With unique landscapes, exceptional visuals, unusual monsters and expansive gameplay options, Once Human has built up some incredible excitement. It is currently ranked #10 on Steam’s global Wishlist chart and is the second most wishlisted multiplayer open-world survival game. It has received over 13 million pre-registrations worldwide, with 400,000 users currently active in the game’s official Discord server.
The new Once Human trailer also teased some content never seen before, like a triple-headed boss monster that will appear in the full version as well as previews of upcoming areas like snow-covered mountains and dark undersea regions.
