Escape your childhood fears in the newly released Little Nightmares, available on iOS and Android. The horror puzzle platformer was originally released in 2017 and sports new features tailored to mobile devices for playing on the go.
Little Nightmares sees players controlling Six, a young girl trying to escape the Maw. This mighty vessel hides many deadly creatures and corrupted souls searching for their next meal. There will be plenty of puzzles to solve throughout the game’s dark environments to progress and escape danger. Little Nightmares tests the imagination and willpower as each puzzle asks players to connect with their inner child. It takes advantage of the way they think, and what they fear. The original developers, Tarsier Studios, describe it as a haunting game of hide-and-seek as a way to hint at Six’s condition and abilities.
Playdigious carries a reputation for porting classics like Dead Cells and Streets of Rage 4 to mobile devices. They’ve worked with Bandai Namco to bring Little Nightmares to iOS for the first time. With it, they have redesigned and added features to improve mobile players’ experiences. The first of these is a new UI and cloud saves. If you have an MFi controller available, Little Nightmares will be compatible. Finally, for the achievement hunters out there, the game has a list of achievements you can acquire in the Game Center.
You can now download Little Nightmares on the App Store and Google Play. For more news updates, stay tuned to HardcoreiOS.
