To celebrate its inclusion in the 81st World Science Fiction Convention, NetEase Games’ Infinite Lagrange is currently hosting a Sci-Fi Carnival event in game. During this event, NetEase Games will add many new ships and gameplay features.
First among these additions are two new combat frigates: the Mare Imbrium assault frigate and its Experimental Pulse Cannon variant. These two ships make a great addition to any fleet with their rapid response capabilities.
Next in the list of major additions is the Military Prestige System. By defeating space pirates and privateers, players can earn Military Prestige to climb the Military Prestige Leaderboard. The top 100 players will be displayed for all explorers to see.
Finally, the largest addition to Infinite Lagrange is the introduction of Space Station Looting. With this system, explorers can capture space stations in different areas to acquire special resources, like equipment, technical blueprints and liveries.
Additionally, this new looting system includes an update to the Strategic Asset system. Certain equipment and blueprints, particularly LGLR and A-level ones, have been given more upgrade value. You can unlock component upgrades on these items after performing Precision Identification on them. This allows you to use blueprints and equipment of the same category to add Tech Points to your strategic assets. Blueprints can also have additional parameters, such as “Open Source,” allowing you to share items produced by them with all members of an Org, or “Technology Expansion.”
The Sci-Fi Carnival event provides a glimpse of how NetEase Games plans on growing Infinite Lagrange. In the future, they plan on expanding the game’s universe even further with more new ships and unique rewards for combat encounters.
Infinite Lagrange is a sci-fi strategy game where you play as an explorer of the Lagrange system within the Milky Way. You can build your own base, command fleets of starships and battle other players in the galaxy.
