Com2uS hits it out of the park with the announcement of MLB 9 Innings Rivals and its global pre-registration. Freddie Freeman, the first baseman of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Xander Bogaerts, the shortstop for the San Diego Padres, will be headlining the game. The game’s realistic graphics are “on par with console titles.” Additionally, Com2uS used motion capture to match the players’ real-world movement to bring a more immersive experience.
After 20 years of developing official MLB games, Com2uS puts everything they have learned into their newest game. The game implements all officially licensed teams, players, and league schedules. There are also multiple new modes in both single and multiplayer such as League, Live Match, Ranked Slugger, and more, to be announced.
MLB 9 Innings Rivals can also be played in landscape and portrait modes for more flexibility. Additionally, there are multiple new ways to level up the different MLB teams, such as Event, Scout, and Player Progression.
Fans can pre-register for the game on their official website. Players who pre-register will earn in-game items to help them get started when the game launches on July 5th, 2023.
