Melvor Idle: Expanded Edition Now on the App Store
Jagex and Games by Malcs have brought Melvor Idle: Expanded Edition to Android, iOS, and PC. Inspired by Runescape, Melvor Idle is a simplistic idle RPG featuring over 200 monsters to defeat. According to Jagex, the game offers a fresh take on idle gameplay with “something for die-hard RuneScape fans, casual gamers and young adventurers alike.”
The game features 25 skills that players can master, including 15 non-combat skills. The game offers skills such as Magic, Melee, Smithing and Fishing skills that will all be familiar to Runescape players. Skills interact with each other in what Jagex calls “rewarding ways.” Essentially, leveling up one skill can positively impact another.
Melvor Idle Expanded Edition comes with the Melvor Idle base game as well as the Throne of the Herald expansion pack. The Throne of the Herald pack lets players create and manage a settlement. Additionally, the expansion pack allows users to learn about the mysterious forces that surround Melvor.
The Developers state that Melvor Idle: EE offers cross-platform cloud-saving so players can easily switch between PC and mobile devices. It features over 1,700 items to collect and use, which players can store vis the interactive Banking/Inventory system. The game also hosts tons of dungeons to explore and bosses to battle. Additionally, Jagex promises more expansions will be available in the future. As always, be on the lookout for Hardcore iOS’s review.
