The Walking Dead All Stars Just Became More Epic
The newest The Walking Dead game to shamble onto mobile, The Walking Dead All Stars, just received its first significant update. Beginning September 27th, players can access a new PvP mode, a new original character, limited events, and more within the new RPG.
Last Man Standing is a new PvP mode in which players with a ranking between 1 to 10 in Frontier battles fight against every rival in the league. In addition to the new PvP mode, the update also adds Headhunting. Headhunting is a brand-new character collection system that lets players recruit allies across various alignments to build a formidable army. According to the press release, players will be able to recruit everything “from mythical overseers to vicious predators.”
Who’s Annie?
The Walking Dead All Stars’s first major update also adds an all-new character. Annie is a mysterious woman accompanied by her Hawk companion, Phoenix. Annie possesses mystical abilities and uses Phoenix to spy on enemies and provoke them in battle. She has a neutral alignment and can aid allies who take the most damage in recovering HP through the use of medicinal herbs.
Finally, the update also includes some limited-time events. Through October 10th, participate in Town Management, a bingo-style event. Rewards for participating include items like an Action Guide and General Recruitment Ticket. Those who complete each bingo game in the event will also net a Selective Survivor Recruitment Ticket which lets them recruit one epic character. Additionally, as of October 4th, players can participate and earn rewards in the Inventory Clearance and Growth Support event.
The Walking Dead All Stars is available for free on the App Store for iOS and the Google Play Store for Android. As always, be on the lookout for Hardcore iOS’s review.
