NetEase Games Global has launched its new game Lost Light for PC and mobile devices. It’s a free survival shooter which promises to bring an invigorating take on the genre. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world during the 2040s. A pheromone outbreak causes the entire world to fall into disarray, and humans are sheltering underground to stay alive. A special task force dubbed the “The Firefly Project” has been created to combat the chaos and bring the world back to normal. You play as a force member and must work with your fellow soldiers to fight for survival.
Lost Light supports cross-play on iOS, Android, and PC. Furthermore, players can team up and play with their friends. Additionally, for those concerned about the storage capacity, the game’s mobile version can run on devices with at least 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, the PC version requires GTS 450 GPU or better, 4 GB RAM, and Windows 7 SP1 or above.
According to NetEase Games, Lost Light is unique because of its “high risk-high return” rule. Players can either sneak around and scavenge supplies or go out in full force and mow down anyone in their way. The choice is up to you, but if you die in battle, you will lose everything you have collected in your inventory. The only way to obtain and keep your loot is to successfully complete the missions, so players must strategize accordingly to make it out alive.
Players can also upgrade and trade their equipment and access various customization options for their gear. For more information on Lost Light, visit the official website and stay tuned for Hardcore iOS’s review.
