Mini Armies
Blizzard Entertainment unveiled Warcraft Arclight Rumble on May 3rd. The full version of this mobile strategy game will come later this year to select regions for Android and iOS. The game’s developers rebuilt the Warcraft universe specifically for mobile players, filling it with unique missions.
Over 60 characters from the Warcraft universe have been brought to Warcraft Arclight Rumble for players to collect. Developers redesigned these familiar characters to look like tabletop miniatures. Players can build their armies to tackle a solo campaign of epic proportions with more than 70 missions available. There’s also the option of playing with friends in cooperative missions or testing your armies in PvP.
Players have the chance to build their armies of Warcraft minis with characters such as Archmage Jaina Proudmore or Warsong chieftain Grommash Hellscream. There’s also rank-and-file soldiers for players to collect as Troop minis and Spells to heighten their offensive or defensive capabilities. In addition, Warcraft Arclight Rumble will have an in-game currency that players can use to continually level-up their armies. Players can earn this currency by simply playing the game or through in-game purchases. Information about the in-game shop hasn’t dropped yet, but Blizzard has announced that players will be able to join Guilds to coordinate Raids and cooperative missions.
