Mirrorverse
Disney and development studio Kabam has officially revealed new details on their upcoming team-based RPG, Disney Mirrorverse, in a new trailer. It features characters from Disney and Pixar-related media, such as Sully from Monsters Inc. and Princess Belle from Beauty and The Beast. Disney Mirrorverse was revealed during an online event held by Disney and Kabam and is set to release worldwide on June 23, 2022. Pre-registration is open now.
Disney Mirrorverse puts players in the shoes of alternate versions of their favorite Disney and Pixar characters. Accordingly, it takes place in a new, divergent universe separate from the setting of the original films and features “mirrored” versions of its characters. Disney Mirrorverse reimagines these characters as Mirrorverse Guardians, ready for combat and poised to fight against the evil Fractured, a malevolent threat whose goal is to shatter both realities.
The official description reads as follows:
“A stellar explosion has given birth to a dark and altered universe – the Mirrorverse. Available for download worldwide on June 23, 2022. Disney Mirrorverse is a mobile action RPG featuring a newly reimagined world under siege by a dark, unrelenting threat. To defend their new reality, Disney Guardians have evolved and developed battle-ready abilities. They are now ready to defend the universe against destruction from fractured hordes that threaten to shatter the world with an unrelenting force.”
Guardians
Players need to unite a team of Guardians and take full control in real-time, action-oriented gameplay. Hence you can collect a large roster of characters with their own unique battle abilities. These include armored-up Sully, the ultimate personal-battle companion Baymax, the vengeful draconic mage Maleficent, as well as many more.
Players can customize each Guardian to their liking. Additionally, they can embark on a variety of quests to restore shattered worlds and obtain rewards. The game is also expected to receive monthly content updates. These will feature new characters, chapters, event quests, and more.
